Break free from the spirals and find a mindful, connected way forward.
Maybe you’ve felt like you have to hide your anxiety—
masking the racing thoughts, the constant “what-ifs,” or the overwhelming feelings of fear. But under the surface, it’s exhausting. Anxiety can seep into every part of life: work, relationships, and even your sense of self and how you see the world.
You’re not broken, and you don’t have to live like this. Anxiety makes sense, even if it doesn’t feel that way right now. It’s understandable- you’re sick of feeling on edge, switching back and forth from racing thoughts to empty distractions. Numbing, isolating and being hard on yourself have not helped, so you’re ready to try something different.
Anxiety is a world-shrinker. It can stop you from doing small and big things that matter to you, like asking someone out or going for a promotion. It can also suck the enjoyment out of whatever’s left by taking you out of the present moment. Social gatherings might feel uncomfortable or you feel stressed out constantly. Anxiety causes you to doubt and second guess, which often leads to feelings of shame and inadequacy, and a painful lack of trust with others.
Ready to put anxiety in its place?
Together, we can explore the patterns and root causes of your anxiety. You’ll learn to meet your inner worries with kindness instead of criticism, creating the space to feel present, grounded, and connected.
I also know you can experience something radically different. You can create a new, helpful relationship to anxiety and yourself. A life where anxiety doesn’t control each day is within your grasp.
Imagine a life where fear doesn’t call the shots.
You wake up feeling grounded and ready to meet the day. You trust that you can handle whatever comes up. Since you no longer worry about being so anxious, you take meaningful action on the things you care about. You apply for the job, you set new boundaries at work, and you start telling people how you really feel. As a result, you start liking (and then loving!) the life you’ve created. Most importantly, you feel at ease within yourself and find yourself enjoying the present moment.
Women who struggle with anxiety are some of the most caring and creative people, who end up leading some of the most joyful, connected and meaningful lives. Let’s get you there.
Comprehensive Anxiety Therapy
In therapy, I’ll help you look at anxiety as an understandable and protective result of less than ideal circumstances. Struggles within family, painful memories, traumatic experiences, and oppressive societal forces are at the root, and are calling out asking to be named and understood. You’ll have my support and guidance to process the past and start to shift the shame and blame off your shoulders. I’ll share ancient and modern wisdom about how anxiety works, so you can spot its tricks and unhook yourself from its grip.
Often, anxiety is what’s felt on the surface of buried emotions. In that light, anxiety can be a doorway to:
Feeling your feelings without fear
Connect to your values and want you want from life
A robust self-compassion and mindfulness practice
Taking brave action and feeling more alive
Relief is possible— and closer than you think.
You don’t have to let anxiety shrink your world. Together, we’ll discover the strength and wisdom you already hold and build a calmer, more connected life.
Therapy for anxiety can help you:
• Understand the patterns fueling your anxiety.
• Learn how to manage triggers in the moment.
• Strengthen your confidence and self-trust.
• Feel more present and connected in your relationships.
• Build habits that support long-term peace and resilience.

A: There’s no one-size-fits-all solution for anxiety, but several approaches are highly effective. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is often a foundation, focusing on shifting unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. Newer therapies like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) help deepen emotional understanding and integrate mindfulness. I draw on these and other evidence-based approaches to tailor therapy to your needs, incorporating tools that resonate with your values and goals.
No one person experiences anxiety in exactly the same way, and there are many types of therapy that work for anxiety. I draw on the best parts of many therapy styles to customize the therapy to your needs. ALT emphasizes understanding the complete person, and uses a variety of evidenced-based therapies to address anxiety.
In addition to using strategies from treatment models, I strive to develop an understanding of your personal history, identity and culture and how they have contributed to your anxiety. I incorporate a scientific understanding of how anxiety shows up in the body and teach clients how to pay attention to their body’s signals and respond with soothing mindfulness based strategies to calm the nervous system and return to a sense of safety.
I deeply believe that individuals can find alignment with what truly matters to them through exploring our common humanity, innate compassion and inner-most values and then making the necessary changes to bring these qualities into their lives.
